F-150 after pressure wash and Opti-Coat
« on: December 24, 2013, 12:55:46 PM »
About 2 months ago, I applied Opti-Coat 2.0 to my dad's F-150. I bought it for the Fusion, but used it on the F-150 since winter was close, and I drive the F-150 while the Fusion sits in the garage. Last night I pressure-washed the salt and crud off of the truck at a carwash. I walked out this morning to incredible results, just from pressure washing...

Opti-Coat is amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone

Opticoat is an amazing thing. I plan to do it to all three of our vehicles this spring once I correct the paint on two of them

I recommend it. Even adds a nice gloss. I can't wait to see the unreflective Fusion paint after I do it. I just need to order more stuff

I know Opticoat is going on the Expedition (it's just single stage white and stays in the garage...), but I might try CQuartz on the Equinox to see how it works. It's supposed to be better than Opti, so we'll see. Depending on how it does I might use it on the Jetta. Right now been using Poorboy's EX Sealant with carnauba and the protection last about 6 months. I've been getting lazier so I've been wanting something that can last about 2 years like CQuartz

This sounds pretty awesome. I may have to try it on my atv if it works on plastic.

It does! I used it on the plastic trim, chrome, headlights and tailights. Stuff is excellent
