I've always thought it would be bad ass to have a ragged, fast as fuck Beetle...and as a nod to nerdiness I would call it The Blue Beetle, just like Harry Dresden's POS Beetle :lol:

Bill has been bothering me about Turboing mine. I'll need to get a trans and engine built to do it, but it would be sick. I'd keep it the same too, somewhat shitty dented up chipped paint/ with 300 or so HP, cuz that's all you need in a bug.

I love this type of stuff, but running the Boxster wheels (or the original wheels from the donor chassis) always ruins it a bit for me. I'd love to see this build with some custom wheels so it's not immediately apparent what they did.

I don't know what the guys plans are for any of that. The car is still in the very early stages of making this work, since some components had to be moved around. There is a lot for him to do still, and I can imagine it will be killer when done.

Even stock dishes would rock. Maybe widen the steelies to handle some extra meat.
