Level II Fleet Mechanic at Oklahoma DOT. Not the worlds best paying job, but I now have sick and vacation time, great insurance, retirement.. and the chance to move up fairly quickly because I work with older guys ready to retire very soon. If I work it right I could be the boss in no time.

Finally got an answer back from Sikorsky!!! Hopefully I will be starting soon over there in Flight Delivery center, where I'll be testing new aircraft and their systems. Four 10 hr days, only downfall is that it is weekends. Oh well, I get to crew chief new aircraft, and the benefits are insane. Finally after 6 months I'll have another job!

Since September last year I've been doing watch repair on my own from home.  I do wholesale work for stores. They mail me watches and I repair them and mail them back.  Also been getting into selling watches and parts on eBay.

Director of Technology & Reporting for a rewards redemption company. Basically, we provide retention tools for call centers that work with a whole variety of companies - some big, some small.

Sounds much fancier than it is but it's the best damn company I've ever worked for and they treat me really well.

Just started as the Real Estate and Records Manager for a bank. It's nice to be out of the utilities field I had been stuck in for 7 years.

Still a police officer, going on 10 years. All of which has been in patrol. About 3 years as a supervisor. I'm eyeing the Chief's job here as soon as he retires. I've got his recommendation, so I have a shot.

How big of a department? Number of sworn officers?

Yah, I never heard of a patrol officer no matter what rank going from patrol to chief to one step.

I'm now in Human Resources for the city of Seattle. I could run city council, but I'm not a hard core Socialist.

I wouldn't know what to do in an agency near that big. We are small and podunk, but it's a fun job. I get into a few pursuits a year, get some decent drug arrests here and there, the full gambit of what y'all get, shootings, stabbings, "riots", etc, but it just doesn't come as often.

Medium to large cities always have riots and shootings all the time. That is what makes you money. All that sweet overtime. So to protesters of Occupy. I want thank you for helping me buy my house and my neighbor's house. Oh and that Gremlin... a few other things...

Plus, you know have job security when you are a patrol Sarge and one of Officers calls you on the radio to ask if loan out your car too three juveniles.
