[Liquor] Jim Beam Devils Cut
« on: September 27, 2011, 09:17:57 PM »
The devils cut is what is trapped in the wood of the barrel. Jim Beam has taken this, somehow extracted it, then blended with a 6 year aged bourbon. It is mighty tasty. The wood not definitely comes through with some vanilla as well. You still get that delicious whiskey taste though. I hate white label beam but love this shit. Its awesome. Its tasty and I prefer it for sipping these days. Its about the same price as a bottle of jack. And for a 90 proof its very smooth. I think I'm becoming a whiskey snob.

Pick one....

Black Label Beam was always a favorite of mine back in the day when I couldn't find Old Grand Dad 100 proof or afford Wild Turkey.

I haven't come across a bourbon I didn't like.  Beam included.  I will have to try this, it sounds good and I'm all out of whiskey at the moment.
