WTB: Canon Digital Rebel or some variant
« on: September 27, 2011, 11:53:54 AM »
Basically, I want a DSLR, and from what I hear, the Rebel is the best one to get for a beginner, or at least one of the best.

I'm not a complete novice, I mean I know my way around a camera, but I don't have a ton of experience with DSLRs. Therefore I'd be open to other suggestions/offers as well.

I'm trying to stay around the $300 range, give or take. Any of your camera guys looking to upgrade or whatever... let me know if you're looking to sell for around that price.

Well I don't know, $300 was just a number to throw out there, I know it'll be more. You tell me... I honestly have no idea what I can get.

Have you looked on POTN? There's a couple 20Ds in the 200-250 range. Steve gave some really good advice in the thread where you posted the CL ad.

The XTi (400d) would be the rebel body in your ~$300 price range. It's what I use, but I would MUCH rather have a mid-level body such as the 20D.

I don't know why you never responded here. Read that before you post a thread claiming you don't know what you're looking for.
