Gonna strap a big-dick turbo to it. I figure if I can get 300 out of this 1.6, I can work 500+ out of a 3.0L :yup:

Doesn't sound too unattainable at all.

Toss some Supra MKIV five spokes on there, and kill the wheel gap and you'll have stealthy fast grocery getter.

Me?

Trying to turn my 87 Dodge Ram into a plow truck.
Trying to hot rod my 90 Mustang. Even more.
Trying to sell my other two 88 and 90 Mustangs, and 94 Explorer.

I never have time to work on my own shit.
...and either quite drinking or quite posting because you're going into some sort of weird AMERICA 1776 FUCK YEAH mode.

On the Impala - Rust prevention this summer on the chassis.  New springs, swaybars, and shocks too.

On the new Sierra -  Wax, stereo upgrade today, Magnaflow exhaust, factory 20" wheels, and a Westin brush guard.  Then pay it off.

I want to make this driveable before I sell it:

not as bad as it looks.
I've done nothing in the next pictures besides get it on 4s, add a grill and headlight and top.
also polished part of the hood.

With all the left over parts from making one good one from the patch work zuk and the blue one, i have almost everything i need...

The challenge has unknowingly been made.  The kid from next door made a comment that i'm certain he heard at home. Something to the affect of "it's a piece of junk, it'll never run again"
So, now, I HAVE to get it going.  Then I'll drive it up and down our street, goin "look at me!"
Like i said, i have most everything.  the only major missing part is an engine.  Big part, i know.
You cain't buy it that way...

V8 in Gremlin with a mild cam and 4BBL intake.

Have most of what I need, including engine and manifold - now to buy a carb, re-ring kit and motor mounts...
Please, please, please, let me get what I want. Lord knows it would be the first time.

1972 Cadillac Eldorado
This Year:
-Rear Shocks
-Pass side door latch (still can't find one)
-Interior trim pieces
-Exhaust
-Front floor pans
-Turn signal switch, rewire some light bulb sockets
-Audio (hidden deck, new dash speakers, add door speakers, somehow relocated poorly stock position rear speakers)
-Get rear windows to work
-Late Season: start some rust prevention/repair

Next Year:
-Complete convertible top replacement
-Body work and paint

2 Year Plan:
-Complete engine overhaul (it's decent enough right now, I had the heads off last year to replace a bent rod, and compression is still barely within spec)

This thing is a fucking headache, but I lurve it. I do intend to find a small project 4x4 in the near future as well (MJ, Samurai, CJ, Tracker, Hardbody, etc). It's been too long since I've had a toy rig.

Edited to add:
Aero, you leave me speechless. I don't know what to say, just that all those Samurais... FAP.
