Exhaust oil slick and chattering fun
« on: September 08, 2011, 06:04:37 PM »
Since no one answered my other video post, Ill put it in words. I have a Prelude. It has an H23. It is fast. Etc.... But it has some problems: Idle surges up and down when cold unless i rev it to 2k and hold it there for a bit, it idles at 1200rpm normally (this stuff is prolly the IACV and the fast idle thermo thingy), it blows unburnt oil out of the exhaust when cold(yes, UNBURNT OIL. Looks, smells, feels, etc.) but it doesnt burn any, and it has a weird chattering sound sometimes when I rev it. Kinda like valve tick, only more violent. I have a video in my last post (H23 bag of shit) if you want to hear it. Also, the stereo has an RPM dependent whine. Any insight to this stuff is appreciated, thanks guys
