Ron Paul, yes, good ole Ron Paul.

Ron Paul who says he wants to enact a budget that would instantly kill off 7% US GDP. Do research into the last time that happened.

Ron Paul voted against the bank bailouts. He loves history, read up on the last time we let banks fail without intervening. Here, I'll help you. It's called the Great Depression of 1929.

Ron Paul thinks we should end all Foreign Aid. This is asinine. Much of the Foreign Aid we send out is bribes to ensure we can continue to trade. Prime example, we give ~1.8 billion/year in F.A. to Egypt. Not because we are trying to help them out, but because this ensures that we have continued access to the Suez Canal. According to international treaty, everyone can use it, however, we all know how much weight treaties hold. If Egypt decided to shut down the canal, it would send world oil prices through the roof.

Ron Paul wants to get rid of HUD, which is responsible for assuring that people with less than perfect credit can afford a home.

Ron Paul wants to get rid of the Department of Energy, which is responsible for ALL of our nuclear warheads. Responsible for nuclear safety. Responsible for the disposal, and proper handling, of nuclear waste.

Ron Paul thinks that this country, and the Constitution, are static, when in fact each are very dynamic. A lot of things have changed socially since our founding fathers first set things up. They created a document, and a country, that could change with it, yet so many refuse to accept this.

The founding fathers didn't have to worry about health insurance. The founding fathers didn't have to worry about infrastructures such as power, roads, etc. The founding fathers didn't have to worry about nuclear waste. WE DO.

We need to find a balance, not just eliminate stuff because it was something the founding fathers could never have imagined.
