I read something earlier along the lines of once a vehicle is tied into the CARS database, it can never be registered or titled again.

Damn shame with these, I guarantee they only gave them up because they wanted the quick money.

No fucking way.  If I worked at the dealership I'd just give the guy $4,500 right there, that Syclone has GOT to be worth more than that.  Fuck that is such a waste!  Weren't there only like, 2995 made?  I am seriously pissed about this.

Yeah, but the dealer doesn't have to enter it into CARS Wink

I doubt the AWD would stand up to an LS1 though would it? I know those little 6's make some power in those, but that LS1's got more. I haven't seen too many of these, and even fewer that are highly modified with the AWD still in them.

I'd take one just the way it is.. maybe give it a bit more boost or something but them things will flat out scream for what they are.

There is one here, still AWD, still original motor (not stock), that runs high 8's.

I don't understand why there would be expensive cars traded in.  I've heard talks of '02-03 Cummins Rams being traded in on the CARS program...What good is this going to do the owner?  Or does the dealer offer a trade-in on top of the CARS rebate?

Woman came in the other day wanted to ditch her 05 Equinox (which is a big pile of shit as is, but that's beside the point).. the sales rep she talked to asked her if there was anything wrong with it. "no..." "Did you know you're probably going to get a lot more for it if you traded it in normally?" "OHHH I feel so stupid, I didn't even THINK of that!!!"

Some do.  The Chrysler dealerships around here are offering to match CARS.

Damn.  I gotta say if the local Dodge/Chrysler dealer offered that, I'd probably be driving off in a new Caliber.
