Laptop cooler
« on: March 14, 2011, 10:48:16 PM »
Looking for a good laptop cooler.  Anyone got any suggestions?  I'd like a really nice one, maybe even a gaming one.  I normally just go with a generic cooler.

"Gaming cooler?"  Come on man.

This is pretty rad though:

23cm fan should be fairly quiet.  If you're going to be setting it  on something like that though, why not just have gotten a desktop to begin with?

I don't have to use it too often.  It just heats up a bit when I'm playing a heavy game.  It doesn't have to be a big cooler, actually, I'm looking for a range.  As for why, it's because it's still portable, even if I put the cooler in the pack with it.

Seems to do the job well and you can't hear it running over the fan in the laptop to begin with

I went with the one Hampster picked.  It's EXTREMELY quiet, even with the laptop off you don't hear it a lot.  They used a lot of blades, and a bigger fan so as to be able to turn slower but still pump the same air.  It does a fantastic job.

Good to hear. Thermaltake makes great products. I've been considering putting a gigantic fan into the side of my PC case. :)
