Lucky 13 / Chopper Chuck Fiasco Q&A
« on: December 20, 2010, 12:50:56 PM »
I think its about time I cleared up some misconceptions about what really happened during this whole ordeal. To start off, I did gain access to a hotmail account used by Lucky13. This was done by covertly asking his secret answer to change the password. Once I got access to the account, I noticed there were no emails in the account other than the ones used to sign up for AR. This was not a heavily used account, or likely even his primary account. There was also not any personally identifiable information in the email account. All of the information I gained about Lucky13 was through Google. I then posted an unverified phone number in the Flame Forum, that could have well have been totally incorrect; I really don't know. As for the email account, I left it as is other than changing the password (which was given back to Lucky13 after this all ended). Following this, I was banned from AR and KP, and a bounty was placed on my head. Phu posted a sticky on the lounge for any and all personal information about me, threatening to destroy my online presence. Luckily, the only people that knew enough about me were good enough friends to not say anything. I never really got to tell any of my side of the story. Was it stupid? Yes. Am I a horrible person hellbent on destroying the lives of others? no.

Beyond that, I am willing to answer any questions any users or staff have for me. Sorry for any typos as this was typed out on my phone.

Ask it for the answer to its secret question.

The same as you, I checked.

Why do maxi pads have wings?

In the 15th century, women used to gather dead birds to soak up their drippings. Throughout time, women's legs became accustomed to this. In the mid 19th century, a large moment against this practice left women with a dilemma. Thus, the maxi pad was invented. And as a nostalgic gesture, wings were included for women who missed that true bird feeling. True story.

We aren't allowed to Dox people, because some people here believe that the Internet is not part of real life, therefor being an insufferable cunt on a forum should have no real life consequences. I'm not as pro-Doxing as I used to be...but there is a lot of sensitivity here towards that I find puzzling since not too terribly long ago a certain LS1Extrodanaire trolled AR and his dox got dropped by a staff member who encouraged a near by member to pay him a visit. I find that type of behavior to be over the line, prank calls and free USPS boxes all over the lawn, not so much. Hell I even doxed my younger brother after he trolled AR in an extremely distasteful manner.

Wow. On Supraforums we have members who do nothing but try to find info all day. It's ruined the lives of several would-be barely-18 year old "pornstars" who got photos mailed to their parents, grandparents, brothers, cousins, and most of their families otherwise; but aside from that, several people who bragged about doing things like hit and runs, running from cops, et cetera... all got nailed.

I'm tired of hearing about the LS1Extrordinaire thing.  Is that same staff member still a staff member?

Seriously? What is anyone ever trying to accomplish? Aside from the general mischief and mayhem, I can't think of much else. I had a customer at the shop STEAL and posted his info here a while ago.. he got about 20 calls before I removed his number, and when he came back he didn't touch a goddamn thing. Cruel? Sure. Did he learn his goddamn lesson not to be a thieving minority? Yes. He did.

Being an asshole, troll, stalker, etc is one thing. Just being someone who is a regular poster and does nothing doesn't warrant shit like that. But don't put your shit out there if you don't expect people to find it. People forget that shit stays on the internet forever. Just don't expect that the same can't be done to you and someone can show up at your door just like you can show up at theirs.

I don't see it any different as posting personal messages obtained through text. Facebook stalking is acceptable from what I understand, since people seem to brag about it (not here, in general). Society as a whole needs to learn to protect their asses better. It shouldn't be as easy as using Google for someone's phone number.

WTF IS DOX??? I mean I obviously can put 2 and 2 together to figure out what it means, but where the fuck did the term DOX come from? I think Meaty has completely forgotten any other term for personal information, to be honest. Either that or he just REALLY likes using that term.

Jesus fucking Christ Nick...its internet lingo...its alot quicker to type dox or doxed instead of personal information or the spreading of personal information. Aren't you late for your nightly Gabe Newel fold scrubbing party?
