i prefer hip-hop's latino cousin who had a one night stand with miss reggae, who had a child that she named reggaeton.
i don't really care that i don't understand the lyrics, i'm all in for the latin beats and different drums they manipulate in the digital realm.

DOOV da doo da DOOV da doo da DOOV da doo da... KULLLLOOOOOO!

I have one question from this thread.

What the fuck is Bape?
Bape is a high end Japanese clothing label.
The logos are primarily based off of "The Planet of the Apes", which is the companies owner/founder's favorite movie. He has one of the largest collections of POTA swag in the world, devoting several Tokyo apartments just to his collections.
Bape is short for the companies true name, which is "A Bathing Ape in Lukewarm Water" which is a Japanese saying for the young, wealthy Japanese people who have everything handed out to them. It's kinda ironic since the clothing and other items are so expensive.

For example, here are some prices I remember

Tee shirt - $73
New Era fitted hat - $85
Beanie - $90
Hoodie - $273-$450
Jeans - $295
Socks - $20/pair
Sneakers - $195-$230

I bought LOTS of this shit. Many (all) people here didn't understand it, so they made fun of me for having ridiculously expensive clothing. That's the most I understand anyway, ask somebody who cares about some clothes I wore 2 years ago more than I do about it. I got rid of 90% of it a while ago and made my money back 3 fold. I still have a few pairs of sneakers that were beat up, and one hoodie.

I'd never pay that much for some name brand shit.

I still wear my old Mieneke sweatshirt when it's cold enough. Mechanic branded stuff yo.

The fuck....I don't go out of my way to buy overly pricey clothes, but no way would I buy anything other than Dickies and like under shirts from Wal Mart...I also have a certain fondness for Polo...meh, you get what you pay for (within reason)

It's rare that I even go clothes shopping. I hate doing it. I wear what I can as long as I can.

Last time I bought clothes, I got all new white t's, boxers, and socks so I could throw away most of my old stuff.

I usually buy shirts when I find a good sale on them, jeans when I find them for under $20 a pair. I'm not the type of person that will just wear whatever either though, I do have some standard when it comes to clothing. But I am damn sure not willing to throw $90 at a shirt, $150 at jeans and what not.

Most I spend on what I wear, is shoes. I am always willing to spend atleast $100 on shoes because I tear up the cheap ones quick. I have to get a new pair of shoes every 3 to 4 months with my job because the soles have turned into slicks and they are falling apart at the seams.. and these are quality shoes, not cheap ones.

The MOST I have ever spent on a single article of clothing was $250 on a leather Snap-On jacket, and that jacket won me a brand new Snap On Classic 96 toolbox so that was an absolutely great purchase.

I've never spent more than $100 on a single item of clothing. My jeans are usually $20, my Red Wings were $90, and my Carhartt was close to $100.

However, they get a workout. I spent $80ish on a pair of Nikes. I've worn them everyday at work for the last couple months. My Red Wings have probably 3000 hours of work in them (with more to come), and my 3 year old Carhartt even has a grease stain on it from when I was in a basket on a forklift.

I always get the same Jeans though... Lee Dungarees. My shirts are always cheap, and are usually just Hanes t-shirts. My hoodies are mostly Columbia, and were maybe $40 a piece, but they're well made.

You people don't own any nice collared shirts or anything? What teh fuck? I have a couple $150 Polo button downs, and most of my Polo pullovers were like 60-75 bucks a pop...I mean most of the times its just jeans and tshirts, but if I'm going to dress decent for work or something I like to have nice shit around.

 Me dressing nice for work is wearing a button down shirt they gave me, or some polos I'm getting. They cost $11, and so do the button downs.

I have button down shirts, but why spend $150 for a shirt that looks the same as one that was $50? No idea how expensive they were, but they're pretty cheap.

I wear pretty much only Polo, J. Crew, Banana Republic, North Face etc.  But I only buy my clothes once/twice a year; and that is when I go for a long weekend up to Maine, and buy all these clothes at the outlets there for 40+% off.

I also get nicer shoes at LL Bean only because when they wear out in a year or two I just return them to the store for a full store credit on another pair of shoes.  LL Bean has 100% satisfaction guaranteed on all their clothes/shoes.  The prices may seem a little high, but you basically get those clothes for life.  My Dad has jeans he bought in the 70's that have turned into the pairs he wears now.  When they wear out he goes back and gets another pair.

I have a couple button down shirts from Polo, I only spent like twenty dollars on them at TJMax - god damn I love that store.
Please, please, please, let me get what I want. Lord knows it would be the first time.

I have a rainbow of collared shirts from Hollister. 39.50 or cheaper. I love them. Hollister is the most expensive clothing I've purchased, and I love how they always have so many colours. I got out of the black phase a few years ago, so every year I get a new hoodie and some new tanks.

My italian suit shirts are only around the 100-150 AU mark!

How the fuck can you spend that much on a casual shirt! thats ridiculous.

Event the "brand" name stuff here is $70-$80 for a shirt.

Jeans are another story though.

Longskate is simply a tosser, plain and simple. Pot, bape, longboarding...... if its trendy he's all over it like a fat kid on a cupcake.

If eating the corn out of your own poo was hip, hed be there with a strainer every morning after coffee......
