Five hours actually doesn't seem that bad. Glad I don't need to help now. :)

YAY!

It just passed PA inspection so I figure I'd poke around (literally, heh) at the rust on the rocker. Well my screwdriver went through and it got uglier from there.

Yea, I'll have to order some new rocker panels this weekend and make it another weekend project cutting and welding on new ones. In a couple months I'll take the bed off for a fuel pump replacement and I'll treat the frame at the same time. Gonna be a busy summer for the beater!

RICE!

Heh, nah I'm just a dork. Rear diff cover was starting to look sketchy so it was due for a replacement. Had some paint laying around I needed to use.

Looks like everything is in good shape, snapped a picture of the little 7.625" Detroit locker.

Whoops!

Icy bridge and Detroit locker is no bueno. Guardrail stopped me though! Bumper was pushed into the tire and after some debate about using my roadside towing, I remembered I had some ratchet straps.

Good as new. It's driveable till Spring. Amazingly new parts off Rock Auto are cheaper than used, albeit China knockoffs.
