[Audio Disc] 36 Crazyfists- Time and Trauma
« on: May 07, 2015, 03:03:25 PM »
I've been a fan of this band for a long time, they have a strong metalcore vibe that I really did and the singer actually has a really unique voice. They're constantly over looked and that's a shame. Musically this one isn't quite as heavy as their past 2 albums, but it feels like there is a bigger emphasis on melodies and riffs, there is some serious Gotheberg influence on several of the tracks and the two female guest vocalists give their respective songs a really well rounded sound. I'd still probably rank The Tide and Its Takers as their best album with Rest Inside the Flames in a close second (dat Howard Jones guest spot). But this is a worthy addition to their discography. If you're a fan Killswitch Engage or similar bands you'll likely dig these guys.

7/10

Whoa, they're still making music?

Haven't listened to them in ages... Like, around when Bloodwork was a single.

The whole band put on a little weight it seems.
