Title: 2003 Romanian AK-47
Post by: MiniVanMan on November 28, 2011, 06:13:04 PM
7.62x39
Comes with two 30 round mags and one 10 round mag.
Has built-in cleaning kit, strap.

$300 firm.

Case included if you want it, but it's just a cheap-o one.

Excellent condition, always cleaned and oiled after use. I've put MAYBE 1,000 rounds through it since I bought it new, and that's a generous guess - I'm sure it's way less than that.

Selling it to fund a new carry piece.

Located in Lansing, MI, not sure about shipping guns and all that so you may have to educate me on it. I have a couple of guys at work interested and they're letting me know tomorrow, so I'm sorry if it's sold by the time you reply.

My buddy Steve shooting it for the first time:

Do you recall the laws for purchasing firearms in Michigan?
Because I am rather interested in buying this but at 19 I think I may run afoul of some sort of law.

I'm not sure about any sort of age restrictions, but the few long guns I've purchased required no paper work of any sort - just cash for gun. I will look into it.

Here Ak's and AR15's require the same paper work as buying a handgun and a 8 day waiting period(same as handguns). But things like my shotgun and sks required the long gun paper work and are able to take with the same day. here you must be 21 to purchase a handgun or "assault rifle"(Ak, AR etc.) and only 18 for long guns. Of course MD is a bit more strict.

Yeah I'm out.
I brought it up with my parents, since it would be kept at their house, and it is a big no.

And most likely rape you....

If I remember right I think technically you're supposed to FFL transfer that bitch if you're shipping it, but if you wanted to be a true bro/patriot you could just mail it straight to someone disguised and insured as a guitar or something.

In-state is ok by the law, IIRC, but anything OUT of state HAS to go through an FFL.  YMMV.
