Just did the Bumper tuck. It's a Police trick, to raise up part of the back bumper so it doesn't get caught on Curbs or debris during Pursuits. Also said to raise gas mileage because the bumper no longer ballons out at highway speeds.

That and just got it back from the body shop after having a big tree limb fall on the car while I was driving it.

Kia - got new front brake rotors and pads last Saturday
Spark 5 - currently living with a friend and he's driving her and tweaking her
1990 Talon - currently sitting in the garage of my old house, awaiting reassembly. Last thing we did was drop the fuel tank and I took it to be cleaned, then it got pushed into the garage.

Repaired the driver front tire, had a bolt in it. Took the door panel off and re-lubed the window tracks, and washed it.. all on the Dodge.

For the Camaro, pushed it out of the garage to get in the crawl space under my house, then threw a battery in it and drove it back in because I wasn't pushing it over the little bumps.

Disabled the axle disconnect on my Jeep.. All of the retarded plastic vacuum lines basically shattered since the weather got cold and I hit a big enough bump. The main thing affected was that vacuum disconnect. I don't need it anyway... all it did was take forever to work (if it decided to work at all)

Put it in storage :( So basically, a good wash and wax, interior protection, dryer sheets spread inside it (they keep mice away), filled the tank and put in Stabil, pulled the battery, laid down cardboard underneath it (keeps moisture from the concrete from eating away at the underside of the car), and.. well, that's it.

Dude, when I take my L.A. trip, we've got to hit that road!

Hopefully they will have the road completely unrestricted when you are out this was. I've always had the opinion that if Tucson/Summerhaven wanted to make some cash they would hold a rally up that road. It kinds sucks if you get stuck behind some retiree that won't let you pass; or a pair of bicyclists that think they own the entire road.

Going to clean the little green machine, and my fiance's Camry today.

And, keeping with the topic, last think I did was run it through the $6 touchless wash Sunday night. Haven't seen a drop of rain in over a month, yet, it was still damn dirty.

If those are anything like most systems, it only takes a variation of 3 pounds (higher or lower) for it to set a light. I hate messing with TPS systems so much.

Last thing I did to my car, was put some gas in it and drove it to work.

Repaired a dime sized hole in the plastic intake manifold of the Ranger.  Apparently there is a plug that sits just behind the power steering pump that acts as a support and bearing for the Intake Manifold Runner Control system and over time it weakens.  Basically it just took a sudden closing of the throttle to create just enough positive manifold pressure to blow the plug out of the intake and have a hellacious vacuum leak.  Luckily the plug popped out in an area next to the PS pump that caught it so I could epoxy it back in.
